ReviveDB creates backups of Supabase projects using PostgreSQL 17 outside the Supabase platform. For each backup, the system restores the dump into a temporary PostgreSQL database. The restored database is then compared with the original source inventory, which includes tables, rows, columns, constraints, indexes, sequences, views, functions, triggers, row‑level security policies, grants and extensions. This verification goes beyond simple row counts, because a restore that loses a constraint or a policy would still appear as a successful count. Each backup operation runs under a short‑lived, read‑only PostgreSQL role that can also read rows behind row‑level security. The same recovery point covers authentication data, storage files and edge functions. After verification, the backup can be restored into a new Supabase project or back into the original project after a rehearsal on a copy. ReviveDB offers a free tier for a single project.

Relevansi untuk bisnis Anda

For businesses that rely on Odoo ERP and use Supabase as a backend, data integrity is a core requirement. Restoring a backup without verifying the full schema can lead to missing constraints, broken relationships or unauthorized access, which may disrupt inventory management, financial reporting or compliance processes. ReviveDB’s automated, schema‑level testing provides confidence that a backup can be restored exactly as intended, reducing risk of data loss and costly recovery efforts. The ability to test restores in an isolated environment also allows teams to validate disaster‑recovery plans before an actual incident occurs, supporting continuous operation and meeting service‑level expectations.
